Benefit Concert

On Saturday, July 18th from 7-10PM, there will be an outdoor benefit concert at Berends Landing. The White Jet Heroes (a band made up of Sheppard AFB Airmen) will be one of the three bands playing. The event is family friendly. Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to sit on. Beer, beverages, and food will be available.

The concert will be held at 400 Bridge Street - next to the Texoma Cycling Center (see the link below for a map). See you there!

Graham Drive-In Movie Theater

Graham is about an hour from Wichita Falls and they have a drive-in movie theater! How fun! We haven't been yet, but here's their website if you want to check it out - http://grahamdrivein.com/. Open seasonally, April - September only Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon; screening single features. Admission: $6 for adults ($4 for ages 5-11); 4 and under free.

Free Mocha Mondays at McDonalds

Thought all parents might like this one:

Beginning on July 13, and continuing on the 20th, 27th, and August 3, at participating McDonald's, you can get a free 8 oz. Mocha (hot) or 7 oz. iced Mocha for free: limit one per person per visit, from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Lawton

Lawton has a neat recreation area - it's open to the public and FREE. It's called Lake Elmer Thomas Recreation Area (LETRA) - http://www.sillmwr.com/letra.html. We went this weekend and it was really fun! Two slides that go into a small pool. Sand beach to the lake. Bathrooms/showers available. And there were even two huge covered areas. It was about an hour from Wichita Falls.

Frontier City

Frontier City is an amusement park in Oklahoma City, OK. They have military Mondays where you can get in for $5 with a military members active duty ID card. Each military member can have 4 guests at this rate. Children 3 and under are free. Tickets otherwise are $29 for adults $18 for kids under 48".
