Booster Seats

Well, I still haven't bought a new booster seat....for my 6 year old. She's still in her convertible car seat (Britax Wizard, which is similar to the Britax Boulevard). The weight limit goes from 5-65 lbs and height under 49". Since she's still in that range, I've never switched her. But boy does she want to!

I've been doing research and was told that "any booster seat would do" since it's more of a function of the car's seat belt. But, after researching more, I found that's not true. Here's the report that came out in Oct 2008. http://www.iihs.org/externaldata/srdata/docs/sr4308.pdf.

(this is from http://kgmb9.com/main/content/view/10164/50/ because I didn't want to type it all up)
"the first major test says many of the booster seats made may not be safe enough. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety tested 41 seats looking for those that make children sit high enough, so that adult-safety belts will effectively protect them. Of them, 13 failed to get the institute's first ever recommendations.
