  1. I would like to say I enjoy going to the parade, but here is the problem. There is no control over the spectators. We only go because our son is in the parade. This year I didn't even get to see him. People refuse to be courteous and sit in front. They want to move out as far as they can into the street without any concern for those who are trying to do the right thing and stay off the street, like we are asked. I understand the kids want candy and they aren't the problem, they'll sit until the candy is thrown and then come back and sit. It's the grown ups who could care less. I get more and more upset every year. Why go if you can't even see. Something has to be done to contol this situation, plus the kids are getting too far into the street. I was just waiting for one to get run over. I hope it will not take that for someone to do something. One kid was even all the way across the street before the mom realized it, or was told. Please try to do something to make it enjoyable for everyone.

Hopefully someone from the city will see this for next year, otherwise you might want to post something on their Facebook page.
